Melissa Charlton

The studio director, Melissa Charlton has been teaching Sunshine Coast locals, international students and athletics for the last 15 years to various exercise programs and locations. 

Melissa envisioned opening a studio that would offer people a unique space to escape to and feel that they participated in a discipline that could be life-changing. Melissa’s style is intuitive and focused and she educates her clients to a deeper awareness of movement and strength, moving beyond functional training and towards integration in awareness of the whole body. Melissa’s classes are catered according to specific goals, challenging, yet playful it is important that her clients enjoy the practice and have fun with their fitness training.

She offers a non-judgemental and compassionate space to explore oneself and enable participants to leave the class refreshed and nourished. She loves to utilise all movement disciplines to help participants open their bodies physically and energetically. She is thrilled and grateful to have a studio community based on the Sunshine Coast. Her support team shares and her visions and make each client a true priority.

Melissa Charlton

With over 15 years’ practical experience working in the health and fitness industry. Melissa enjoys blending Pilates and Fundamental Fitness with the science of sport and exercise, guiding others to unlock the full potential of their mind and body, and fulfil their life’s goals.

Melissa is certified in multiple disciplines including diploma trained Tensegrity Contemporary Pilates Teacher, Allied Health Assistant- Physiotherapy, Personal Trainer and Water Therapy Instructor.  Melissa works on a one-to-one basis and through group programs.

Melissa was drawn to Pilates because of its cross training capabilities and emphasis on balance in the body. She can talk endlessly about her passion for Pilates,  loves taking classes and fully geeks out about variations and modifications. Her teaching philosophy is to keep classes fun and challenging so that you leave each class feeling both accomplished and aspirational. 

Membership Details
  • All memberships, will be billed fortnightly via direct debit
  • 12-week contact – you must renew your contact every 12 weeks if you wish to continue
  • Membership can be cancelled at any time with 2 weeks written notice
  • LATE class cancellation less than 4 hours before the class forfeits the class
  • No show for unattended bookings forfeits the class
  • Unused classes are forfeited
  • We have 6 per class + Mel
  • Minimum of 2 people booked to confirm class
  • Late admittance is distracting, please arrive on time for your class to flow
  • A small towel and water bottle is encouraged to bring along with your Pilates socks. (now available in studio to purchase)
