Studio Fitness Private Training

Private Training is one-on-one training with a teacher to work towards your own health and fitness goals, taking into consideration any injuries or medical conditions you may be dealing with.

THE BENEFITS OF PRIVATE PILATES STRENGTH CONDITIONING SESSIONS

The most obvious benefit of having a private Pilates Strength Conditioning session starts from the immediate fact you have the teacher’s undivided attention. Where instructions, explanations of exercises are all tailored for the individual. The flow on effects and benefits are:

  1. Better technique in the Pilates method
  2. Better execution of exercises
  3. Better proprioception (body awareness)
  4. Faster progression and results of strength or recovery from injury

In these Private sessions, we work on the reformer, mat and other studio equipment for more specific individual needs. These Private sessions are the optimal way to segue into group classes with a deeper understanding of the work.

Studio Fitness offers the full Pilates studio experience with ‘Studio’ individualised training in Private, Duet or Trio sessions.

You can come for a one-off session to work on something specific or have a series of sessions to build your strength and confidence to progress into a class.

Youth Training
Grade 7 to Grade 12

Youth Training enhances high-school students’ musculoskeletal strength, fitness, and sports performance while minimizing injury risk. Tailored sessions prioritize safety and technique, using manageable resistance in a noncompetitive, enjoyable environment. Pilates promotes strength, core stability, flexibility, and balance, improving posture and movement patterns. Mel, a qualified level 2 Physiotherapist, Allied Health Assistant, and Pilates Teacher, creates personalized, inclusive workouts for youth, fostering physical and mental well-being.

Mel’s private training sessions eliminate intimidation, ensuring a fresh and engaging atmosphere with ample encouragement for optimal results. As a qualified Physiotherapist Allied Health Assistant, Diploma Trained Pilates Teacher, and Personal Trainer experienced in clinical rehabilitation, Mel provides a professional and supportive environment, promoting individuality, self-awareness, self-acceptance, and wellness. She tailors inclusive programming to address weaknesses and highlight capabilities, dedicated to enhancing physical and mental well-being through safe, motivating, and knowledgeable Pilates instruction.

Studio Fitness provides personalized programming based on clients’ abilities, goals, and preferences. Mel, a qualified Physiotherapist Allied Health Assistant, Diploma Trained Pilates Teacher, and Personal Trainer, offers additional services such as strength training, injury prevention, and collaboration with allied health professionals. Specializing in diverse conditions, Mel tailors inclusive workouts for NDIS participants, addressing mobility and neurological challenges. She adapts exercises for various abilities, including those with mobility limitations, visual impairments, intellectual disabilities, or mental health concerns covered by NDIS. Mel fosters a supportive and inclusive environment, prioritizing trust, rapport, and empathy in each session. Committed to collaboration, she works closely with NDIS participants, families, and support coordinators for comprehensive care. Services include one-on-one consultations, clinical Pilates, and Hydrotherapy at the Nambour Aquatic Centre on Mondays and Thursdays.

Self-managed 
If you are self-managing your NDIS claim, I will require you to pay for your appointments on the day and I will generate an invoice for you to seek reimbursement through NDIS. 

Plan-managed
If your NDIS claim is managed by a third party, I will need your Support Coordinator’s contact details & item line / number to submit the invoices

Private training sessions are by appointment only.

Membership Details
  • All memberships, will be billed fortnightly via direct debit
  • 12-week contact – you must renew your contact every 12 weeks if you wish to continue
  • Membership can be cancelled at any time with 2 weeks written notice
  • LATE class cancellation less than 4 hours before the class forfeits the class
  • No show for unattended bookings forfeits the class
  • Unused classes are forfeited
  • We have 6 per class + Mel
  • Minimum of 2 people booked to confirm class
  • Late admittance is distracting, please arrive on time for your class to flow
  • A small towel and water bottle is encouraged to bring along with your Pilates socks. (now available in studio to purchase)
